Task 2- How does your media product represent particular social groups?
The main character within the text is very similar to other characters in other texts, such as Spiderman where the main character has a overshoulder shot towards a mirror, we have olso used this and the way the both check their glasses. We have also taken the stereotypical unpopular boy in the school who then encounters an unexplainable event which will turn his life around, this will represent change that people can do, so the audience will be able to relate to the character.
Task 3- What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Task 4- Who would be the audience for your media product?
believe that the perfect audience would be mainstream, due to a number of reasons. They tend to be in their teens, and exploring new experiences such as alcohol, women and many more. It is also the largest market segment, meaning that the film will be targeted at the mass market, which is why the film has to appeal to a wide range of people. This segment interacts the media through internet, TV as well as magazines, it is more likely that they are affected by opinion leader from their peers to reviews on TV or a magazine.
We have attracted this audience in a large number of ways, such as having Twisted Pictures as a company used, the films by this company tend to be teen mainstream such as SAW and other films which also suited our Thriller genre. There has also been a large trend of supernatural films doing well in this market such as Twilight and a lot of horror films. This would of meant that we had followed a trend which helped us attract out audience and to affect opinion leaders which would improve the popularity of the film.
